The Mathematics curriculum is organised around the interaction of three content strands and four proficiency strands. The content strands are:
- number & algebra
- measurement & geometry
- statistics & probability.
Our Math Program is aligned with the Australian Curriculum Mathematics content and proficiency strand. As the new topic is introduced all student’s prior knowledge on the topic is assessed through diagnostic pre-assessment. The results from the pre-assessments on each topic identifies students’ strengths and areas of improvements to further extend or support the student learning needs as the topic progress during the week.
