In Foundation to Year Two students explore many areas of the Arts including: *Visual Arts, Media Arts, Drama, Rhythm and Movement. *
The Art Curriculum focuses on experiencing artworks from different cultures and developing student understanding of how and why artwork is created. Students will investigate visual conventions such as line, shape, colour and texture.
During Art sessions, students will enjoy creating their own artwork using many different mediums. They will explore storytelling, imagination and acting while participating in class presentations. They will use ICT to research art and create artworks of their own. Students will explore sound and movement by and creating rhythms and producing patterns.
